About the team
You’ll join the Finance team, known as the eyes in the sky of the bear pack. With a small team of 4, we steer the business in the right direction by paying close attention to the details but also through understanding and envisioning the bigger picture. You are driven by financial data and information and enjoy structured way of working. Together with Stefan, Tom and Giliam, you ensure that the pack is correctly guided for optimal performance.
What you will do
As our Financial Administrator, strengthen a young, but experienced team bursting with enthusiasm and unbridled ambition. Together we run through any obstacles to further grow, also abroad. At blackbear, you work in a small and young, but energetic and experienced finance team. In your role, as a Financial Administrator, you will work closely with our Financial Controller, Business Controller and Head of Finance. You are able to work both individually and within a team. Your daily work contributes directly to the success and growth of blackbear.
- You are responsible for the daily bookkeeping and finances at blackbear;
- You frequently process the debtors and creditors;
- You manage the mail box of the financial department;
- You prepare VAT documentation (on a monthly and quarterly basis);
- You prepare various management reports (cash flows, profit and loss statements and balance sheets);
- You contribute in the monthly salary payments;
- You support the complete Finance team;
- You support the People team with administrative (e.g. payroll) activities.
What you will bring
Aside from the blackbear mindset we need you to bring the following skills and knowledge to strengthen our pack:
Minimum 5 years of (work) experience with accounting and/or administrative work;
Analytical thinking skills, proactive approach and an accurate working style;
Good understanding of and experience with Exact Online is a must have;
Experience with Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and other administrative programs;
Experience with HubSpot and Stripe is a plus;
- Affinity with (B2B) marketplaces / platforms / SaaS is a plus;
- Exceptional planning & communication skills;
- Excellent Dutch and English language skills;
- You are located in The Netherlands.
